From installing car chargers to ground-up commercial construction jobs, Harmon Electric will complete each project with the same uncompromising quality and integrity. No job is too small; no client less important. When you work with our family-run business, you’ll feel like you’re part of the family, too.
In 1975, Richard and Jean Harmon founded Harmon Electric Inc., a full-service electrical contracting company. For decades, we’ve specialized in exceptional craftsmanship and care to our commercial, industrial and residential customers. Our menu of services includes new construction, electrical testing/troubleshooting, and tenant improvement.
Julie King, CEO
Having mom and dad owning the company while she grew up gave Julie a job as a teenager and the opportunity to decide she would never work in construction again. Or so she thought. While Julie has many accomplishments under her belt as a person and as owner of the company; the most admirable is how she managed to make us a Certified Woman Owned Business. This is not easy! When Julie isn't in the office running the business; she is still running the business... but she is also a proud mom and grandma who loves to spend time with her family and friends. She teaches fitness classes and loves to work out. Time with her husband, Dan, is best spent finding unique wineries and microbreweries or cooking.
"I value truth and ownership with everything. It is important that people feel a sense of ownership in the things they choose to do."
Dan King, COO
Dan brings over two decades of experience in business sales to Harmon. Throughout the years he has achieved many things as an individual and as the chief operations officer. Included in this list you'll find his success at Enterprise RAC in their commercial fleet leasing division for twelve years, purchasing the company (Harmon Electric, Inc.) in 2005 with spouse Julie King and growing it 3,375% into 2012, and his impressive abilities to be an entrepreneur. Although Dan is best known as the COO, he is also known to hold the title of dad and grandpa. His time outside of work is best spent with family and friends; creating memorable experiences with them. A majority of these experiences centered on his cooking and everyone enjoying it. When he isn't in the kitchen, you'll find Dan on a trail or up a mountain enjoying another hobby of his; hiking.
"I live my life both personally and professionally by the golden rule. Respect is a timeless principle and it is my personal mission to get everyone to understand that."
